BWP: Results from Penyffordd

The Superstars of Britannia Wrestling Promotions arrived at the Penyffordd Royal British Legion, Flintshire last night for a sold-out, action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled evening of blockbuster family entertainment!

Here is an update on both the final card and the results of the show:

> Marc Morgan retained his BWP Rookie Division Championship against ‘Springbok’ Matty Matthews

> In the #BritanniaWrestlingAcademy Match, ‘The Heartbreaker’ Alex Kidd defeated The Executioner in an outstanding match

> ‘The Classic’ Ciaran McConnell managed to live a lifelong dream of not only facing a World of Sport Legend, but defeated him to boot! Great display of #OldSchool Vs #OlderSchool

> The hometown boy Dylan Roberts narrowly lost out to ‘Liverpools No 1’ Zack Gibson in a wrestling master-class

> Knights of the Squared Circle ALMOST walked away with a pass through to the next round of the #GreatBritishTagTeamChampionshipTournament, until referee Bryan Bennett reversed the controversial decision, which led to a much deserved win for The New Breed!

> The Babyfaced Pitbull gave it his all to try and regain the PWI:BWP World Catchweight Championship, but the champ, Cyanide, was too much as he managed to retain his gold in yet another epic encounter between these two industry leaders.

> In the Main Event Rumble – Dylan Roberts overcame the odds and took out half the roster, finishing with both members of Knights of the Squared Circle, much to the delight of his hometown crowd!

It was a great night and we can’t wait for the next show!
