A day later than normal people but here is the usual 3 good, 3 bad for the recent incarnation of Impact. As we head towards Bound For Glory will it be easy to pick the three of each? Let’s find out.
Three Good
oVe vs LAX Rematch – These teams have been going at it for a while now and I was surprised when oVe won the titles a few weeks back, but we all knew this match was coming. What makes this a good thing is the fact that we not only get a gimmick attached in the 5150 Street Fight, it also opens up the possibility of people helping oVe even the numbers game up in what will pretty much be 2 vs 5.
Grado – I know it’s cheese, I know it’s cringeworthy, but these small segments are really working for both Grado and GFW. He’s wrestled in a high school gym, he’s been shafted at a VIP meet and greet, and now he’s been asked if he’s the meal ticket, brilliant stuff.
Impact vs Garza Jr – We all hoped this match would deliver and it did. Despite the very predictable outcome, they have pretty much made Garza someone to be reckoned with now too…that’s if they don’t royally screw up the good work they’ve done in recent weeks.
Three Bad
Taryn Terrell – Do I really need to say anything about Taryn? She has offered nothing since she returned and has really done nothing to build any interest in her storyline, i’m sorry but I hope she is removed after Bound For Glory.
Storyline Continuation – Desmond Xavier….didn’t he win a title shot at the X-Division title for winning the Super-X Cup? Are we supposed to forget that, that was his reward for winning that? Or will they miraculously remember down the line?
Filler – Yet again too much filler on the show. I make Impact has roughly 80 mins of air time when you drop the adverts etc, yet we only had 3 matches on the show. I seem to be saying this every single week, so will I not say this next week? Time shall tell.

It’s Monday, so that means yours truly is going to take a look back at 6 things from the most recent episode of Impact to see how it’s all shaping up.
Three Good
Fatal 5 Way Match – I went into this match expecting to see it turn into the 3 Impact guys going against the two AAA guys…and whilst parts of the match did play out this way, I really didn’t expect to see both sides end up battling eachother. It was great seeing Texano trying to con Storm into hitting Fantasma’s dad with a chair, and it was good to see the inter-fighting at it adds a whole different dimension to the storyline.
Grado – Grado is here for delivering a pretty damn good promo and selling the return promo from Parks, but as a Welshman…him calling Parks a sheep shagger was the highlight of the show for me. We all know Grado will find a way to win the Monsters Ball match at BFG, and we all know this journey has been a bit cringeworthy at times, but it’s been one of the better storylines being put on by Impact at the moment.
Taya vs Rosemary – Even the the finish was a little weak, the match itself was pretty damn good. With what went down post match too, makes it all the better…Taya vs Rosemary in a First Blood Match seems to have been set, so I do expect these pair to put on the match of the night come BFG.
Three Bad
oVe vs LAX Pre-Taped Segments – I know, I know, I know…it’s part of the storyline to build LAX as a law to themselves in Mexico, but my word these pre-taped segments are very cringeworthy. I am loving the in-ring action between the teams but all this extra stuff is very offputing, so I hope the feud ends at BFG.
Lashley/Moose Segments– Do something week one, flip it for week two, do something for week 3, flip it for week 4, repetitive boring rubbish…and what’s worse is they’ve made this a tag team match instead of a one on one match…insane decision by the powers that be.
Predictability – Impact wrestles, Drake goes for post match beat down…how many weeks in a row for that one now? Then you have the above mentioned Lashley/Moose stuff, the same for oVe/LAX, it’s just the same things being slightly tweaked and played over and over. Please don’t turn into a very lazily booked show Impact as you’ve been doing so well!
