I recently had an incredible conversation with George “The Iceman”, who is the president of Destiny Wrestling in Mississauga (Ontario), Canada.
We spoke about this fledging indy promotion in the Greater Toronto Area of Canada, a bit on the ins and outs of the business and how COVID 19 has affected the wrestling business in general.
One prominent name from Destiny is their current world champion, Josh (Walking Weapon) Alexander, who is one half of the longest reigning Impact World Tag Team Champions, The North.
I also talked a bit with a local fan named James, who goes by the Twitter handle @lilryback1, about the state of indy wrestling during the pandemic era. If you’re ever in the Toronto area, he has some very good recommendations of indy shows to check out.

An average professional doing the 9-5 grind who really loves wrestling across all platforms. Here's hoping wrestlers finally get some basic workers rights in 2021.
