Dear Aj Styles,
It has been a very long journey to say the least, you went all around the world and made a name for yourself before entering WWE. Everywhere you went from TNA, NJPW, and even ROH the light always shined brightest on the Phenomenal One, personally I never understood why it took so long for you to make the big leap. I realize now as I reflect on your well-deserved Hall Of Fame career the WWE was your ultimate goal, the place where you can support your family with stability and comfortability but it wouldn’t have been the right time and moment for you to make the move.
You patiently waited watching dear-friends finally reach WWE status only to see them fall flat or as I like to say took five big steps forward then ten giant steps back. You always knew that if you made the leap to WWE prematurely it would be the end of your career as we know it, not Aj Styles though Aj knew the only way to reach the WWE pinnacle is to truly make a name for himself on the independent circuit and you perfected your craft.
The moment I realized that Aj Styles destiny was so much clear is when he politely turned down the TNA Hall Of Fame, not because it was his former home and they couldn’t agree on a deal it was because he knew that if he accepted his induction he would not have had an opportunity to compete on the biggest stage of all, a WWE ring. Aj you knew that accepting your induction was only taking ten steps backwards compared to the journey you are on, you prioritized your family first mentality and you have not looked back ever since. Aj you are the greatest independent wrestler in history by far no-one comes close to the resume you have developed since leaving TNA, while everyone was saying sign with WWE you said I do what is best for my family wherever that may be independent or in the WWE I must continue to work for them not myself.
Aj Styles you are the most humbled, appreciative, and overall class act your impeccable resume was a small reason WWE wanted to sign you, the main reason is how you carry yourself outside the ring you are a great husband, the perfect father, and you carry yourself with such high standards it is impossible for anyone to match. You did not make the calls to get WWE’s attention all you had to do was make a name for yourself independently proving to the world that you can be the most successful professional wrestler without a major backing. Watching The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega Triple Super Kick you was very hard to watch, but that is when I knew for a fact Aj Styles was finally ending the independent saga and entering the WWE ring, as I write this at 1:37 a.m. Texas time January 23, 2016 you will be making your final ROH appearance not wrestling just the perfect farewell.
Aj Styles you are my favorite wrestler of all time just writing this letter is a tremendous honor I am hoping it made sense, you have blessed my life in many ways it would take a book to show my appreciation and gratitude. The WWE has been unbearable to watch at times, but ever since rumors flew off the handle there is not gonna be one moment I miss and because if you Aj the WWE will be soaring to heights it only had seen in the past. You are the breath of fresh air in professional wrestling Aj you are what WWE has been missing while people were chanting for Cena and Lesnar I was watching my local Sinclair Broadcasting channel just to get a glimpse of the Phenomenal One on ROH there was a reason you were never in the mix with Jay Lethal it was only because ROH was just a pit stop for your ultimate goal. Whether you debut at the Royal Rumble or the next night on Raw just know millions will be tuned in just so they can finally witness the Phenomenal Debut of Aj Styles congratulations my friend this is your moment and you truly deserve all the blessings and success God will allow for you and your family just know you have the biggest fan in San Antonio, Tx rooting for you every step of the way, Im praying this letter reaches you Aj and want to thank all of the loyal SLTD Wrestling Fans for taking the time to read my letter to The Phenomenal One Aj Styles.
