It’s Monday so it’s time for yours truly, Old Skool View, to look back at the most recent Impact show.
Three Good
Matches at Different Locations – This is how hard it was for me to find three good this week…i’ve had to plump for the fact that the matches taking place at different locations actually added something to the show.
In Ring Work – Yet again the in-ring work on the show was of a very good standard. The wrestlers keep putting on very good matches, they just need the rest to fall into place to turn it from a good show to a very good show.
Week Closer To BFG – Yes…this is a good thing as post BFG we get the reboot and that’s what we needed…desperatly!
Three Bad
Disjointed Production – Whilst I enjoyed the fact it was spread across different locations, it also made the show very disjointed, which again has been a common theme with the show recently.
Eli Drake Segments – Whilst I love Eli Drake, he had too many segments leading to the one thing they wanted to do with him during the show. This isn’t lazy booking, it’s just not smart booking.
Moose vs Lashley – In ring work was fine, but my word the should have given us this straight one on one match at BFG rather than making it a tag match!
As a sidenote I am really looking forward to Bound For Glory, it should be really special.
