Once again Team SLTD have gotten together to give our thoughts on who we think will come out victorious at Survivor Series this Sunday when RAW and Smackdown go head to head. Will it be Team RAW or Team Smackdown in the men’s five on five match?
We all give our thoughts below, let us know in the comments below who you think will win!

I am very much looking forward to this match. The addition of Cena makes things very interesting. This is a match I’m not sure you will win, but if I had to pick a winner I would pick team Smackdown only due to the fact that Raw will win a lot of the other matches throughout the night

In all honesty, until John Cena was announced for the SD Live team I was 100% certain that Team Raw would win the Men’s match. However not that Big Match John has been added, I feel that percentage has gone down to 90%.
Storyline wise I still believe it makes more sense for RAW to win. Mostly because Kurt’s job is on the line, and the possibility of a Kevin and Sami run in.
I think it’ll go down that SD has the upper hand, possibly 2-on-1. Then Kevin and Sami hit the ring, annihilate the two remaining SD competitors and the remaining RAW member (most likely the heel Samoa Joe) picks up the win.

JUST LOOK AT THAT STAR POWER! The match was stacked (minus Jordan) before Triple H was announced as the replacement for injured Jason but now it’s on another level. If you weren’t looking forward to Survivor Series before then you can be damn sure that you should be now. There are so many stories that can be told in this match that can create future feuds. There are rumblings that Samoa Joe and Cena will square off at Wrestlemania and what better place to get the ball rolling than here. And now that Hunter has been added to the match, they’ve already laid the groundwork for a match with Angle. Excitement levels are high!
When it comes to actually predicting what the outcome of this match will be, there are so many balls up in the air that you can’t go down one specific road. Personally, I think (and want) Team RAW to win, however, when you look at the Women’s 5 on 5 match, Asuka can’t be on the losing side there so would Vince make the decision to have RAW win both elimination matches? I’d be surprised if he did so could that just default to a Smackdown victory for the guys. One thing I can predict for sure is that there will be a booking decision within the match that will anger the majority of the IWC. Braun gets pinned. Shinsuke will be booked to look weak. Cena will dominate (again). At the end of the day, we’re seeing Triple H, Kurt Angle and Shane all sharing the ring together in 2017 and that is a lovely thing. Nostalgia rules all.

The two wrestlers who have been thrown into the match are Triple H and John Cena, even though they’re the most experienced members on the sides, let’s create an upset and eliminate them first, Triple H gets taken out by Bobby Roode, and Cena falls to Samoa Joe. So it’s down to 4-4, Orton gets eliminated next by Braun. But then Kane reappears from under the ring and removes Braun from the match.
This match should have several interferences, so Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn jump over the barricade and assault Shane McMahon, so Shane gets eliminated.
It comes down to Roode and Nakamura vs Angle, Balor and Joe. Balor gets eliminated after a Kinshasa, Joe makes Roode pass out to the Coquina Clutch. Nakamura takes out Joe, and it’s all left down to Angle vs Nakamura. Then Angle’s son, Jason Jordan hobbles down to the ring but instead of helping his dad, he Angle Slams him, and a confused Nakamura pins Kurt for the win for Team Smackdown.
With this booking, you have Joe and Roode look strong in eliminating Cena and HHH, Owens and Zayn look sinister and backstabbing by almost costing their own brand in the match. Nakamura is getting built back up to win the Royal Rumble in January and then take on Styles at Wrestlemania. And Jason Jordan turns heel and reveals he lied about being Angle’s son, just so he can make it to the top.

This Survivor Series men’s match has changed so many times that I might end up being included in the match. Just kidding. I do believe that there will be some shenanigans from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to help RAW win, but Triple H will end up screwing over Kurt Angle for putting the moves on his wife in 2000 and handing SmackDown Live! the win and firing Kurt Angle in the process.

The stakes are high for this one, Stephanie McMahon has threatened to fire General Manager of Raw, Kurt Angle, should he lead his team to anything but a win.
There are a lot of possibilities for the finish of this match, involving participants in and out of this one.
Let’s take Jason Jordan, will he make his expected turn heel by costing his ‘father’, Kurt Angle, his job? Will Strowman turn on his entire team? (as has become a running theme apparently).
Then on the Smackdown Live side of things, do Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make their presence felt? Are they even there at all? Another rumour is Daniel Bryan turning on the Smackdown Live brand, which certain hints would link up to make sense of this.
I think this is the first time that an entire 5 on 5 match at Survivor Series has been made up of all faces (well, that is if you count Samoa Joe, who has been working as a face as house shows, but perhaps that’s just because he was working against heels).
I can’t see Angle losing his job and being fired, so Team Raw to take the victory here for me. The interesting thing though will be how they do it
