Once again Team SLTD have gotten together to give our thoughts on who we think will come out victorious at Summer Slam in the Raw Tag Team Championship Match. Will ‘The Bar’ Sheamus & Cesaro retain, or will the reunited former Shield bothers capture the gold?
We all give our thoughts below, let us know in the comments below who you think will win

I’ve grown to become quite a big fan of the Sheamus/Cesaro team. They’ve grown in confidence, bettered as personalities and become better all round workers. I enjoy their tag team work, but will they leave SummerSlam victorious? I’m confident.
The Seth Rollins/Dean Ambrose angle seems to be teasing something, the trust factor is still there, which means one of them is turning. I doubt they would have Rollins turn on Ambrose again, because that would surely kill off any Shield reunion in the future. Dean is the one that needs a freshen of character, and what a way to do it by breaking hearts with an assault of his former partner. I see the beginning of a Rollins v Ambrose programme, which the two of them could put on a very intense rivalry.
Alternatively my ideal situation would be Rollins and Ambrose capture the tag team titles, then during the Universal Title match assist Roman in winning the title, with SummerSlam going off the air with the 3 of them reunited as The Shield holding a title each up in one hand and their fists all joined with the other

The seemingly never ending story between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose has led them to back to their Shield days as Ambrose and Rollins are back to teaming together to take the Raw Tag Team champions Sheamus and Cesaro. To be honest this is the match I’m most looking forward to, I was a huge fan of The Shield and I am a huge fan of both Seth and Dean and believe there’s a lot of money that can be made, not only from Seth and Dean as tag champs, but a full blown Shield reunion. So my official prediction is that Ambrollins win this Sunday and don’t be shocked if Reigns wins the Universal Title with his Shield brothers in tow.

I absolutely adore Sheamus and Cesaro. Thrown together because they had nothing better to do, they’ve taken it all in their stride and as a result, they are two time Raw Tag Team Champions. However, it all comes to an end this Sunday at SummerSlam. Dean and Seth are two other guys thrown together because they have nothing better to do albeit with a history with each other in The Shield. We finally saw them bump fists on RAW this week and I feel the only way to cap off this story of reconciliation is to have them win the Tag Titles on Sunday. You can be damn sure that this will be one hell of a match.
Let’s speculate for a second though. I can’t be the only person who feels that since Dean finished his series with Styles on Smackdown, he’s become a little stale. It was The Miz who shined in their feud after all. Ambrose has all the qualities of a heel. We’ve seen it with The Shield but not as the Lunatic Fringe. Maybe this Sunday, on one of the biggest stages WWE has to other, we see Ambrose strike Seth in the back with a chair? If they lose this match, this would definitely keep them in the spotlight and I won’t be far wrong in saying that it could be the feud of the year.

This has been built up PERFECTLY, especially the rivalry and trust issues between Dean and Seth. Dean couldn’t trust Seth after stabbing them in the back 3 years ago, and then when Dean offered the fist, Seth rejected it. But, all it took was a beat down on one another for them to get on the same page AND THEY DID THE THING! Which of course as you can tell was real exciting, and I honestly think 2/3 of The Shield will walk out of SummerSlam with gold around their waists, Dean and Seth becoming NEW RAW Tag Team Champions.

Well I didn’t think I would be writing about a partial Shield reunion never mind about them having a championship match but here we are! For weeks this has been teased and as soon as Cesaro and Sheamus got involved it was clear where this was going but to me this is still a little strange. The Shield haven’t been apart for long enough when you really think about them having a reunion but what’s a little more frustrating is because Reigns is still using the original music it still doesn’t feel like they are truly back together! Makes you wonder a little if Ambrose may get his own back after all.
With the huge reaction from the crowd after just a fist bump I think we may actually see Ambrose and Rollins win the championships and I think they should. Cesaro and Sheamus have been OK champs but they haven’t really done anything with them and there isn’t any real hype behind them, plus apparently Sheamus is taking time off to shoot a movie so it kind of looks like this is a dead cert! Suppose that’s the problem with social media and breaking kayfabe, matches like these then lose their unpredictability!

If you follow me on twitter you will know that I am not a huge fan of the idea of this Shield reunion, it feels like a step back to me but I will admit, even I popped a little when Rollins and Ambrose fist bumped Shield style in the ring on Raw. I think Sheamus and Cesaro have been great champs, and I would be happy for them to continue to hold the gold, but with the reaction to Ambrose and Rollins finally being on the same page I think its a full gone conclusion that they are walking away with the championship.
The really interesting part of this whole story is will they bring Reigns in to the mix too? Will Ambrose and Rollins help Reigns win his first Universal Championship?
As against this Shield re-run I have been, the thought of SummerSlam ending with a triple powerbomb on Strowman or Lesnar through the announce table is a powerful image to reunite the three ‘brothers’.
They’re our thoughts on the Raw Tag Team Championship match, what are yours?
