Once again Team SLTD have gotten together to give our thoughts on this year Hall of Fame inductees the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express
We all give our thoughts below, let us know in the comments below what you think of the next inductee!

I’m not very familiar with these guys, they were superstars that I’d heard the name of and yet hadn’t ever really seen. From what I understand they were quite a popular figure back in their day, a big hit with the ladies according to Ric Flair (who would know).
I think it’s great that despite not having been associated with WWE for almost 20 years, their contributions are still being recognised.

There will be a lot of fans out there who don’t even remember The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, but that does not mean they don’t belong in the WWE Hall of Fame. R’n’R Express come from a time before the WWE (then F) did not own the wrestling monopoly that they own now and the territories where still a huge part of the wrestling world. To say Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson payed their do’s is an understatement, if you know of any wrestling promotion that were around in the 80’s I am almost certain that The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express not only worked there, but they won Tag Team gold. Put it this way, every territory I can think of right now they have been champions. With a career spanning 30+ years, and carrying Tag Team gold in over 20 promotions, popping up in both WWE and WCW, not to mention being fearless enough to accept an invitation to The Broken Hardy’s Tag Team Apocalypto at Total Nonstop Deletion just last year, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express have earned their spot in the Tag Team wing of the Hall of Fame.

I am not familiar with this tag team but the first time I saw them on TV was on TNA (I know the name is gone but I’m still going to call it TNA) on Tag Team Apocalypto and for older gentlemen, it looked like they could still go (at a limited capacity). With the many tag title runs in the NWA and others, it’s great their going to be induced into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017.

To be perfectly honest, I’m not overly familiar with The Rock ’n’ Roll Express as they were before my time. But with that being said, from what I have seen, you can tell that they were a great tag team. They are fun to watch and were obviously over with any crowd they performed in front of. Plus, the fact that they are still spoken about today whenever people list the greatest tag teams of all time, shows that they are more than worthy of their Hall of Fame induction.

Rock n Roll Express debuted even before I was born and that’s saying something. I never really liked them as a team but I do appreciate what they did for tag team wrestling during the 80’s and 90’s.
